Last week all eyes were on The Krewe Centaur Parade, but now it’s Gemini’s turn.

The Krewe of Gemini welcomes the public to watch as krewe members load thousands of beads and other “throws” onto their colorful floats during their annual Float-Loading Party, 6-9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 9.

The parrty takes place a the Gemini den at 2101 E Texas St. Bossier City, LA 71111.

This free, festive party is a great opportunity to view the floats up-close while collecting some extra beads and mingling with krewe royalty. Food and alcohol are typically available for purchase at this family-friendly event.

Then on Saturday, the Krewe of Gemini Parade rolls through Shreveport beginning at 4.
