Maxpreps releases top 25 football teams in Louisiana

Louisiana high school football gears up for week 3, and Tuesday Maxpreps released this list of the top 25 teams in the state.

University Lab is ranked in the top 25 in the country, so obviously they’re number one.  West Monroe, who we recently saw at Battle on the Border, is number two.

Evangel, who is currently 0-2 (having lost to two national powers) is number five, while Byrd sits at number six at 2-0 (Byrd also beat Bishop Dunne, the team that gave evangel one of its losses. We’re kinda surprised Northwood isn’t in the top 25, but things do tend to change.
